Penn Medicine’s Department of Medical Ethics & Health Policy is excited to announce its Master of Health Care Innovation, a 20-month fully online degree program for those aspiring to improve health care. Featuring faculty from across Penn’s schools, including the Perelman School of Medicine, the Wharton School, the Law School, the School of Nursing, the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics, and the Penn Medicine Center for Health Care Innovation, this comprehensive degree program allows students to discover how to advance health care innovation with world-renowned faculty members leading their fields in health policy, behavioral economics, operations management, health care innovation, research ethics, and clinical ethics.
Through the MHCI coursework, you will build a foundation to improve processes of care, increase the value of healthcare services, shape patient and clinical behaviors, and contribute to the development of health policies while assignments will give you experience with innovation methods and tools such as problem framing and rapid validation techniques along with honing your business skills like proposal writing and pitching to stakeholders.
